I've never been one to keep a journal. Not even during significant times in my life such as my two years in Brazil as a missionary for my church. Although I did write home weekly and have those letters to look back on.
However, perhaps inspired by my Grandfather and his "boring journal notes" which he publishes out faithfully to the family by email each week, or perhaps it is a sense of needing to be more reflective and catalog the lessons learned in life rather than being so caught up in the day to day thrashing, or perhaps it is just because I know I tend to forget the details over time, here is my blog. Not sure that I expect anyone else to read it and not sure how consistently I will write, but at least it is a place holder for a few "Boring Brandon Notes" regarding past and present.
